Value Content
The content of your shipment must not exceed US$2,000.
Weight
The maximum weight per shipment is 110 pounds (50 kl).
Size
The shipment must not exceed 1.50 meters in any of its dimensions.
Quantities
The shipment must not contain more than 6 units of the same type.

¿Qué pasa si el envío no cumple con los requisitos?

Reajuste de Valor
If the declared value of the shipment does not correspond to the actual value of the merchandise, it will be subject to a value proposal, which generates an adjustment in the payment of customs duties.
Cambio de modalidad
When declaring in postal traffic and express shipments, the requirements are not met, which implies changing the import modality by transferring the shipment to a warehouse.
Abandono
If a month passes without sending it by postal traffic or express delivery, it is considered abandoned. You can recover it in the following month by paying customs duties and an extra 10%. If you do not do so, it will become the property of the Nation and you will not be able to recover it.
Aprehensión o decomiso directo
When the merchandise is prohibited, not described or not covered by the transport document (postal or air waybill) or express manifest.
